Celebrating 900+ Votes Freebie #4 – 3rd Grade

3rd Grade! Here we go!
 
 
The game I made for 3rd grade is a multiplication jeopardy game. Since “Jeopardy” is copyrighted, I had to name it “Multiplication Review Game”.

Since multiplication is a big part of 3rd grade and I haven’t made a jeopardy game solely for multiplication. There are 6 categories.

The amounts disappear as they are clicked on so you don’t have worry if you have used it or not. Scores can be typed in on the key board too! (All in Slideshow mode!)

The questions simple enough. It’s almost like a huge flash card, except that you don’t have to hold that huge stack of cards.

It even comes with a final question, which is beyond what the students should have to know, though that’s what makes it fun (and makes them think/work harder)

I created the backgrounds and graphics. The fonts. however, came from kevinandamanda.com.fonts. They have a wide variety of fonts and I mostly use their fonts for worksheets, but this time, I used it in a ppt game.

Expanded Form Bingo Game

Expanded Form Bingo Game
This is best Expanded Form Bingo Game I’ve used! While working with my 2nd graders, I wanted to review expanded form in a nontraditional way. After searching online and coming up empty, I decided to create my own. The game I made is a powerpoint bingo game: Expanded Form Bingo

This game has students covering 3 digit numbers that are in standard form. The number is in expanded form so they have to find that number form on their bingo cards.

There are 30 unique bingo cards. No two cards are alike. There are 4 cards per sheet, saving time and ink. All you have to do is print them out and cut the cards out. There aren’t any bingo chips, but dollar tree has a 100 pack for $1. Target also have some mini erasers that work great too. There is a call sheet for you so that you can mark the numbers as they are called.

The scoreboard itself has all the questions. You can choose where to start. The numbers aren’t in order so even if you decided to start with question 1, the answer won’t be like 168. I think the first number is 794.

There aren’t that many graphics, though I did create the background and border. Sometimes, you just need something simple to engage the students. This one was definitely one of them. My students enjoyed it so much, they asked to play it again the next day!

Similar to Teacher vs. Student in questions. There are 20 questions. This time, there can be up to 3 teams. Like always, scores can be typed in during slideshow mode.

There are 3 question types: (1) first missing addend, (2) second missing addend, and (3) the answer. Students must figure out what the missing number is. Includes swivel animations when you click on answer.

The clip art comes from Ashley Hughes. It was part of her own Celebration and it’s free. Still wanna give her some credit.  I created the background and the fonts came from Techy Teacher and Lovin’ Lit.

Celebrating 900+ Votes – Freebie #1 – Kindergarten

To celebrate 900+votes, I’m creating 6 powerpoint forever freebies for my store. Each day I will post them via TPT, Facebook, and my blog. They will be free forever! Here’s an explanation of the first:

Kindergarten – Adding within 5.
 
This game covers K.OA.5 which is fluently adding or subtracting within 5.

This game is a Teacher vs. Students game. If you don’t know what it is or have never tried it, I think you should. It’s lots of fun! My students love it. Basically, students answer the questions. If they get the question correct, they get the points. I usually leave the amount of points per questions up to the teacher. I usually do 5 points per question. If the students get it wrong, the teacher gets the points. Believe me when I saw sometimes the students get the wrong answer.

There are 20 questions in this game. There is a type in scoreboard that can be used WHILE in slideshow mode. The question circles disappear after you click on them. This way, you don’t have to worry about whether or not you have answered it.

Each questions look like this. There are animations on each page. Students simply click on the answer they believe is correct.

If correct, a green check mark will appeared and the flower will reappear in the equation. If incorrect, the flower will disappear and a red “x” will appear. It is then that the teacher can click on the correct answer.

I can’t take all the credit. The beautiful flower clip art came from Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah designs, which I have completely falling in love with. I created the background myself. Enjoy this wonderful freebie!

Milestone Celebrations and Negative Feedback


I haven’t posted in a while, but I’ve been working on powerpoint games, Spring Bundles, and Easter worksheets. I’d thought I’d up date you on a few things.


　
　

Milestone Celebrations

During the month of February, I hit so many milestones at once, I had to figure out what I wanted to do. I finally figured out what I wanted to do. Here’s the list of things to come:

Negative Feedback

　
Usually, I don’t take negative feedback personally. If something is wrong with my product, tell me right away! Don’t wait several weeks, perhaps months before mentioning it to me, especially if you rate me low for it and ALL my other ratings are 4.0’s.

I received a rating of a 2.1 because a buyer mentions several mistakes in it. When I first saw it I nodded and said ok. I responded back, giving my email so the buyer could let me know the mistakes I made and correct them. I would hope they would email me the mistake I made so that I could fixed them and compensate them for the effort.

I had someone purchase a different item and tell me there was a mistake in it. I appreciated the fact that she mentioned it to me first in the Q&A section instead on the rating section. She was a seller too and hoped I was not offended. Of course I wasn’t. I was happy and appreciated the fact the she let me know. As sellers, we try to be perfect in the products we create, but we’re not.
